La Flor Dominicana is proud to announce the long-awaited rebirth of a classic line. First introduced in 1994 as the La Flor Dominicana Premium Line—and later known as Suave—this iconic brand has been completely reimagined for today’s cigar smoker.

Suave Natural

The Suave Natural delivers a refined new profile, wrapped in an Ecuadorian corojo-seed leaf over a Mexican San Andrés binder, with rich Dominican fillers at its heart. This update brings depth and complexity compared to the original Suave Light, offering a smoother yet more flavorful experience. Available in three vitolas, the Suave Natural represents a fresh take on tradition while honoring its Dominican roots.

Suave Gran Maduro

Also reborn is the Suave Gran Maduro, featuring a bold Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Jalapa, Nicaragua binder, and Dominican fillers for a balanced yet powerful smoke. Offered in two vitolas, this cigar reflects everything LFD has learned since its inception. Litto Gomez describes it as the cigar they would have created “if we could start from day one, knowing everything we know now.” Tony Gomez adds that it’s “bright, bold, yet timeless—symbolizing the joie de vivre at the core of LFD.”

Both new blends were unveiled at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans and are expected to ship this September.
