This one is wildly different.
LCA Release No. 154: Coco Berry comes from Raul Lanuza and Lanuza Family Cigars, built around an experimental Rosé Corojo Sun Grown wrapper—a Nicaraguan hybrid developed to produce a naturally rich, sweet and fruit-forward smoking experience.
The entire blend is Nicaraguan, using Corojo tobaccos from Estelí, Condega and Jalapa, with tobacco from different parts of the plant brought together to create something you don't normally find in a cigar.
Expect a full-bodied profile with notes of berry sweetness, dark chocolate, espresso, sweet molasses and red pepper. Even the pre-light and cold draw are unusual, showing hints of freeze-dried blueberry, marshmallow cream and berry candy.
Aged for a year and rolled in a 6 x 52 Toro, Coco Berry is exactly what LCA is supposed to be about—small-batch tobacco, experimentation, and a cigar you probably won't experience again.
