Tatuaje founder Pete Johnson may be turning 54 this December, but fans of the brand will soon get to celebrate a milestone from years past—a cigar specially crafted to commemorate his 50th birthday.

Introducing the Tatuaje 50th line: a limited release featuring two vitolas—the 5 1/2 x 52 Robusto Especial and the 6 1/2 x 52 Toro Especial—both unveiled at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show. These Nicaraguan puros are topped with a beautiful Corojo 99 shade-grown wrapper, delivering a classic Tatuaje experience.

According to Johnson, the tobacco used was aged between 3 to 5 years when the cigars were rolled in late 2019 and early 2020. Each cigar also bears Tatuaje’s Escasos secondary band, marking their production at the My Father El Rey de los Habanos factory in Doral, Florida.

Both sizes will come in 10-count boxes and are limited to just 5,000 cigars per vitola, making this a true collector’s item.
