The new EPC Pledge of Allegiance is here! Featuring a new blend in two limited-edition vitolas. The 2025 version uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadorian habano binder, and fillers from Nicaragua’s Condega and Jalapa regions, along with Pennsylvania-grown P41 and a Havana-seed leaf from Connecticut.
Described by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. as a tribute to the strength and diversity of the American spirit, the release reflects his journey from Cuba to the U.S. and the founding of his world-renowned cigar brand. The toro will have 1,776 numbered boxes symbolizing the birth year of the U.S., while the more exclusive Rockets figurado (6 3/8 x 58) will have just 249 boxes to mark the nation’s 249th birthday.
Inspired by the American dream, the line merges two of Carrillo’s existing blends—Pledge and Allegiance—and owes its patriotic name to Casa Carrillo COO Selim Hanono.
