Most cigars come in boxes. Some in bundles. But Tatuaje Pork Tenderloin stands out—wrapped in white butcher paper like something you’d pick up from a gourmet meat counter. Originally introduced in 2010 as a Boston shop exclusive, this unique cigar quickly earned cult status, prompting event-only rereleases in 2016 and 2017. Now in 2025, it returns for a long-awaited third serving—shipping to retailers next week.
“The name is truly fitting,” says Pete Johnson. “It’s rich, bold, with that signature broadleaf sweetness and a smoked meat aroma.”
Measuring 5 1/8 x 52 and finished with a pigtail cap, the 2025 Pork Tenderloin uses the original blend: a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. (Note: the 2023 Lomo de Cerdo was a separate spin, featuring a Mexican San Andrés wrapper.)
Each 25-count butcher-paper-wrapped bundle retails for $325 ($13 per cigar). Rolled at My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua, this release is capped at 5,000 bundles—so don’t wait too long. Just remember: this one’s for your humidor, not the freezer.
